Endorses Lou Barletta for Congress in PA-11
Washington, D.C. – The Concerned Women Political Action Committee (CWPAC) announced its endorsement of Hazleton Mayor, Lou Barletta for Congress in Pennsylvania’s eleventh district.
CWPAC is affiliated with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, which is also affiliated with Concerned Women for America, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with more than 500,000 grassroots members nationwide.
The eleventh Congressional district is currently held by seven term Representative Paul Kanjorski. In his close to 14 years in Congress, Kanjorski has established himself as a liberal democrat voting in favor of so-called gay hate crimes legislation, taxpayer funded embryonic stem cell research, and against the Pledge Protection Act.
"Mayor Barletta has already established himself as a commonsense conservative said CWPAC Executive Director, Mike Mears.
“When you take a look at his accomplishments as mayor of Hazleton especially his strong stance against illegal immigration, its clear that Lou will make a great member of Congress, and a leader on the issues our membership cares about most.”
CWPAC will encourage its members to work and elect Lou Barletta to Congress in Pennsylvania’s eleventh district.
Concerned Women Political Action Committee was started in 2002 to help elect solid pro-family, pro-life conservatives to Congress. CWPAC sends out a monthly letter to members encouraging them to financially support candidates like Hazelton Mayor, Lou Barletta
