Why CWPAC Endorsed

If Congressman Tom Feeney’s name sounds familiar, it should.  We endorsed him in 2002 because of his record in the Florida House of Representatives as a strong pro-family, pro-life conservative.

He continues that leadership today.  As the Congressman from Florida’s 24th District, Tom:

·          Voted to defund Planned Parenthood.

·          Consistently voted against federal funding for destructive embryonic stem cell research, while 
        voting in favor of ethical and promising research on adult stem cells.

·          Voted against so-called “hate crimes” legislation that could have a detrimental effect on 
        churches and Christian businesses in this country.

·          Voted in favor of protecting the Pledge of Allegiance.

·          Voted in favor of protecting women who are victims of sex trafficking.

               In addition to his voting record, Tom started his own political action committee soon after he was elected in 2002.  The House Conservative Fund helps elect true conservatives to Congress, much like CWPAC does.  But here is the irony; because of IRS regulations, the political action committee that Tom founded can’t legally help him.  That’s why CWPAC has agreed to step in and help.  You see, Tom wouldn’t ask for CWPAC’s help if he didn’t need it.  Congressman Feeney is facing a tough reelection fight against a pro-abortion woman who is being supported by EMILY’s List, the nation’s largest pro-abortion PAC.  It’s clear she will have all the money she needs to be competitive.  Tom has had tough races before and has prevailed, but we want to do everything we can to help him. Click here to help.
