Concerned Women Political Action Committee Endorses Jody Hice for Congress in Georgia’s Seventh District Primary Election

Pastor Hice will be a conservative leader in Congress.

Washington, D.C. – Concerned Women Political Action Committee (CWPAC) has announced its endorsement of Jody Hice for Congress in Georgia’s 7th District.

Concerned Women PAC, established in 2002 by Founder and Chairman Beverly LaHaye, is affiliated with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with more than 500,000 grassroots members nationwide.

Jody Hice spent twelve years as senior pastor of Bethlehem First Baptist Church in Barrow County. During that time Jody developed two key skills needed by any politician to be effective: listening to the concerns of others and serving them according to their needs. In 2003 Jody founded Ten Commandments – Georgia, Inc. to raise money for legal defense to maintain a display of the Ten Commandments in the county courthouse. Jody then established Let Freedom Ring Ministries, Inc. to continue his defense of liberties. In 2008 Jody challenged an IRS code which would remove tax exempt status from churches if political issues were addressed from the pulpit.

Jody and his wife Dee Dee have been married for 28 years and have two daughters.

“Jody Hice is a passionate defender of American liberty” says Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women PAC.

We have endorsed Jody Hice for Congress because he won’t just be a good conservative vote – but he will be a dependable conservative leader.

Penny Nance and Concerned Women Political Action Committee’s mission is to elect solid pro-family, pro-life conservatives to Congress.  Concerned Women PAC sends out a monthly letter to members encouraging them to financially support candidates like Jody Hice.  For more information on this race or to set up an interview with Penny Nance, please contact Mike Mears at 202-408-4941.
