Concerned Women Political Action Committee Endorses Conservative Kristi Noem for Congress in South Dakota-AL

Kristi Noem is the conservative change needed in Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. – Concerned Women Political Action Committee (CWPAC) has announced its endorsement of conservative Kristi Noem in her campaign for Congress in South Dakota.

Concerned Women PAC, established in 2002 by Founder and Chairman Beverly LaHaye, is affiliated with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with more than 500,000 grassroots members nationwide.

The current representative for South Dakota is Stephanie Herseth Sandlin who was first elected to Congress in 2004. Rep. Sandlin has in that time voted against the CWALAC position 61% of the time.  She voted for massive expansion of government and increases in spending, voted against a provision that would have prohibited public funding of abortion and recently voted to repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.  Kristi Noem is currently a South Dakota state representative and farmer.   As state rep., she co-sponsored the Women’s Health and Human Life Protection Act which would have ended most abortions in South Dakota.  She also twice co-sponsored legislation to require abortion facilities to offer sonograms to pregnant women.  She is committed to bringing the conservative principles of South Dakota to Congress.

“Kristi Noem is a common sense conservative” says Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women PAC.

“CWPAC is more than pleased to endorse a mother, businesswoman, and proven conservative legislator like Kristi Noem for Congress.”

Penny Nance and Concerned Women Political Action Committee’s mission is to elect solid pro-family, pro-life conservatives to Congress. Concerned Women PAC sends out a monthly letter to members encouraging them to financially support candidates like Kristi Noem.  For more information on this race, or to set up an interview with Penny Nance, please contact Mike Mears at 202-408-4941.
