Concerned Women Political Action Committee
Endorses Congressman Tom Graves for Congress in GA-09 Primary Election
Rep.
Graves will be a principled leader in Congress
Washington, D.C. – Concerned Women Political
Action Committee (CWPAC) has announced its endorsement of Tom Graves for
Congress in Georgia’s Ninth District.
Concerned
Women PAC, established in 2002 by Founder and Chairman Beverly LaHaye, is
affiliated with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, the nation’s largest public policy
women’s organization with more than 500,000 grassroots members nationwide.
Georgia’s 9th District seat was held by Nathan Deal who
resigned to run for governor of Georgia. Tom Graves won a special election on
June 8th and is now the congressman from the 9th
District.
Congressman Graves was a strong pro-life voice while in the
Georgia General Assembly and has earned numerous awards for his strong
conservative voting record. As a result,
Rep. Graves has been endorsed by conservative congressmen Mike Pence (Indiana),
House Conservative Fund, The Club for Growth, and Georgia Right to Life. Tom has never backed away from his
conservative values and has even touted his views on his campaign website:
"I am pro-life and my record in the Georgia
General Assembly demonstrates very clearly that I'll oppose the killing of the
innocent unborn and support adoption as a positive solution. I oppose
taxpayer funding of abortions, the gruesome partial-birth procedure and support
laws that require parental notification and consent where minors are
involved."
Tom and his wife Julie have
been married for 13 years and have three children.
“Tom
Graves is a proven conservative legislator” says Penny Nance, CEO of
Concerned Women PAC.
“We
are excited about Congressman Graves and look forward to working with him to
promote conservatism while doing everything possible to dismantle the liberal
Nancy Pelosi agenda.”
Penny
Nance and Concerned Women Political Action Committee’s mission is to elect
solid pro-family, pro-life conservatives to Congress. Concerned Women PAC sends out a monthly
letter to members encouraging them to financially support candidates like Tom
Graves. For more information on this
race or to set up an interview with Penny Nance please contact Mike Mears at 202-408-4941.
