Concerned Women Political Action Committee
Endorses Conservative Jeff Perry for Congress in Massachusetts-10 Primary
Election
Unabashedly pro-life
and pro-family
Washington, D.C. – Concerned Women Political
Action Committee (CWPAC) has announced its endorsement of conservative Jeff
Perry in his campaign for Congress in Massachusetts’ 10th District.
Concerned
Women PAC, established in 2002 by Founder and Chairman Beverly LaHaye, is
affiliated with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, the
nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with more than 500,000
grassroots members nationwide.
Massachusetts’
Tenth District had been held by Rep. William Delahunt who is retiring after seven
terms. The primary date is set for September 14, 2010. Scott Brown carried 60% of the vote in the 10th
District on his way to winning the open senate seat special election after the
death of Senator Ted Kennedy. Senator
Brown has endorsed Jeff Perry over his four Republican opponents.
Jeff
Perry is currently a state representative serving his fourth term. Mr. Perry is
the ranking member of the Committees on Education and Public Safety &
Homeland Security. Mr. Perry is a partner in the law firm of Flannigan and
Perry P.C. Mr. Perry also served as a Wareham Police Officer/Sergeant for eight
years.
Representative
Perry has proven his conservative and limited government views time and time
again, including in 2006 when he was one of just two state legislators to vote
against the Massachusetts mandated health care system stating, “I argued universal mandated coverage was the
wrong approach for Massachusetts and today it is still the wrong approach for
America. The legislation rushed through Congress is a dangerous step towards
socialism and one that does not reflect real reform that is needed to our
health care system.”
Jeff
and Lisa Perry have been married for twenty-one years and have one child and
two grandchildren.
"Jeff Perry has a solid track record of conservative
leadership in a state where it's not always that easy to be a champion for
conservative values” says Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women PAC.
“CWPAC is proud to endorse Jeff Perry for
Congress.”
Penny
Nance and Concerned Women Political Action Committee’s mission is to elect
solid pro-family, pro-life conservatives to Congress. Concerned Women PAC sends
out a monthly letter to members encouraging them to financially support
candidates like Jeff Perry. For more
