Sharron Angle Endorsed

Concerned Women Political Action Committee Endorses Sharron Angle for United States Senate in

Nevada

Sharron is the proven, principled conservative in this race and can defeat Harry Reid in November

Washington, D.C. — Concerned Women Political Action Committee has announced its endorsement of Sharron Angle for U.S. Senate in Nevada.

Concerned Women PAC, established in 2002 by Founder and Chairman Beverly LaHaye, is affiliated with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with more than 500,000 grassroots members nationwide.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid currently holds the Nevada Senate seat, but polls have him trailing Sharron Angle 48 percent to 40 percent.

Senator Reid has voted against the Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee position 72 times over 4 terms in the Senate, and has only voted with pro-family, pro-life advocates 18 times.  He recently voted in favor of government take over of healthcare and against an amendment that would have prohibited federal funds from being used for abortions.

Former Nevada State Assemblywoman Sharron Angle in contrast has been a pro-family, pro-life advocate and an across the board conservative.

“There was never any question that Sharron was the most experienced and proven conservative in the race,” says Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women PAC.

“Now there are polls that show Sharron can win her primary June 8th and beat Harry Reid in November.

Concerned Women PAC endorses Sharron Angle because she stands resolutely on the issues, such as family values, protection of the unborn, and fiscal responsibility. Sharron provides the clearest contrast to liberal Harry Reid”

Penny Nance and Concerned Women Political Action Committee’s mission is to elect solid pro-family, pro-life conservatives to Congress. Concerned Women PAC sends out a monthly letter to members encouraging them to financially support candidates like Sharron Angle.  For more information on this race, or to set up an interview with Penny Nance, please contact Mike Mears at 202-408-4941
